This uses Brians altered map gen through javafx launcher/installer

After download you unzip to a decired folder, and from that you go down to ..\launcherInstaller-20201002-win\LauncherApps\launcher\bin and run the "run.bat" 
This will start the launcher

select application (wurm Map Generato FX)
 -and click "Launch"

First go to "File" and create new project or load an excisting one
If new map then create a new named folder for it and choose that .
At this point the first real work on your new map begins by setting the basic numbers, and pressing "Generate Hight Map" 
You can experiment with the settings
